Icarian Wounds
I am drawn.I am drawn to light, and the fire beneath it;to burning, to falling, to giving. I am drawn to a world that needs,to love that’s boundless, beyond the edges of safety—A love that Read more…
I am a healer, storyteller, and unapologetic advocate for collective liberation. My work is rooted in feminist and decolonial frameworks, focusing on dismantling systems of oppression and fostering equity, access, and justice. Whether supporting individuals navigating trauma, engaging in research that amplifies marginalized voices, or challenging systemic inequities, I remain steadfast in my commitment to change. I stand unequivocally with Black and Brown communities, queer and trans lives, disabled bodies, and a free Palestine. In a nation teetering on the edge of oligarchy and fascism, I align myself with the revolution necessary to reclaim our humanity and build a future grounded in mutual care and solidarity. You’ll often find me practicing, researching, or smashing the colonial patriarchy. One thing is certain: my story is still being written, and it is my honor to witness and share yours.
I’m an introvert who is pretty good at putting on an extrovert coat when I need it. I’m recharged by quiet moments of magick; the smell of a good book on a cold night or the sacred stillness under a full moon. Sometimes it’s a walk among the trees (that I swear are welcoming me home). I’m a self-proclaimed sensationalist who will inevitably get lost in fiction until someone I trust can bring me back. Most of my past lives are across the pond and I love putting pen to paper. I was born to disrupt the status quo and will spend the rest of this life shaking things up.
Nothing I accept about myself can be used against me to diminish me

I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishming light of your own being“
